ND - NURSING

The National Diploma (ND) in Nursing at Premier College of Nursing Sciences, Ejigbo, Osun State is a comprehensive programme designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in professional nursing. The programme combines rigorous academic instruction with hands-on clinical training, equipping students with the knowledge, practical skills, and ethical values required to provide safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred healthcare.


The curriculum covers core areas of nursing education, including anatomy and physiology, microbiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, community health nursing, maternal and child health, mental health nursing, nutrition, and professional ethics. Students also undergo supervised clinical postings in accredited healthcare facilities where they gain real-world experience under the guidance of qualified healthcare professionals.


Our ND Nursing programme emphasizes critical thinking, effective communication, leadership, teamwork, and the use of modern healthcare technologies. Graduates are prepared to continue to the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nursing and develop the competencies required to excel in today's dynamic healthcare environment.

Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission into the National Diploma (ND) in Nursing programme must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Obtain a minimum of five (5) Credits in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB at not more than two sittings.

  • The required subjects are:

    • English Language

    • Mathematics

    • Biology

    • Chemistry

    • Physics

  • Candidates must have sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by JAMB and obtained a minimum score of 120.

  • Applicants must choose Premier College of Nursing Sciences, Ejigbo, Osun State as their institution of choice or process a change of institution through JAMB where applicable.

  • Candidates may also be required to participate in the College's screening exercise and meet any additional admission criteria prescribed by the institution and relevant regulatory bodies.
